and growing our existing base incredibly fast. We are looking for
smart, savvy, experienced, growth-minded individuals to join our
team. Our team is small but moves quickly and decisively and offers
a lot of autonomy to high performers. Role - We are seeking a
technically strong accountant, ideally with 3 years--- experience,
to assist the CFO in ensuring that the business and its controls
keep pace with this rapid expansion. As Controller, Strategic
Finance you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of
the accounting function, preparation of monthly financial
statements, leading an annual financial audit, reporting on
performance of industry partners, weekly/monthly borrowing base
preparations with our lenders, covenant calculations, interaction
with industry partners and investors, and detailed financial
analysis and project-based analysis as needed. Reporting to: Chief
Financial Officer ? Key Responsibilities : Manage and execute all
accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, G/L, and Revenue
Recognition and Amortization Schedules. Responsible for maintaining
the integrity of the accounting records at an audit-ready level
Manage month-end closing, prepare monthly financial statements and
other financial and operational reports, ensure all reporting is
completed and submitted before required deadlines Act as a key
point of contact with Auditors, senior and subordinated lenders,
shareholders and other external advisors and industry partners.
Assist CFO in forecasts of an income statement, balance sheets, and
statement of cash flows Assist CFO in all capital raise efforts
Work collaboratively to improve financial, KPI, and dashboard
reporting across the business Business partnering senior
stakeholders to influence decisions from a financial standpoint Ad
hoc projects and reporting Skills required Qualified Accountant,
Ideally CPA Optimally three years plus post qualification
experience Previous experience in a Finance Controller position,
preferably within a dynamic, growing business environment Optimally
with public company or IPO-relevant experience Experience leading
or heavy involvement in external financial audits Extremely strong
skillset in Microsoft Excel; comfortable with complex modeling
scenarios Good working knowledge and experience with web-based
accounting systems (Quickbooks, other) Demonstrable technical
accounting background, including knowledge of US GAAP and
significant experience in preparing financial statements Confident
communicator able to tackle problems logically and efficiently,
achieve buy-in from senior stakeholders Ability to interact with
senior stakeholders, building strong working relationships
