Accounting Supervisor/Accounting Mgr needed for a prominent key player. Seeking a solid & driven individual who is ready to dive into a solid management role and partner with a well respected CFO. As the Accounting Supervisor/Manager you will be granted the ability to contribute to the success of this Co. in many levels. Key duties: Selected individual will be responsible for operational accounting duties including journal entries and GL work, account reconciliation, month end close as well as ad-hoc analysis.In this role you will be able to expand your management skills to overseeing a staff of 10 accounting members which will enable you to ensure staff work product is timely, accurate, and relevant by reviewing staff work, establishing monitoring tools, and provide training as needed. In addition, optimize work flow, improve processes for efficiency and accuracy, and develop staff. Additional duties: Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial and reporting general ledger structure Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting Seeking a professional that has the ability to identify, analyze and document non-routine transactions. Prepares, maintains and reports all aspects of Fixed Assets. Reviews and prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations ? ensure entries are accurate and complete on a timely ongoing basis to allow CFO sufficient time to review. Respected CFO of this fast growing Co. is seeking to partner with a solid right hand that will help with special projects, as needed. Lastly to support CFO in streamlining, improving and implementing procedures in various accounting and operational areas, e.g. AR, AP, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Inventory Shrink Controls, Cash Management, IT information flow. Candidates that have exposure to Leases & other Contracts or any real estate related matters is a huge plus.
