Our mission is to provide a safe, warm, loving atmosphere that fosters growth and learning for our kiddos, families, and team. We started as a small family daycare, quickly outgrew that space, and moved to a commercial childcare center. We are looking for a fun, driven Teacher to join our team! This position works closely with the other teachers, Center Director and CEO. This is a part-time (less than 32 hours) or a full-time position (approx. 32-40 hours per week) between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm. This class will have 10-12 children per teacher. Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students. Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment. Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body. Serve and monitor meals Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, hand washing Supervise children during nap time Assisting with any duties as needed by the program, such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry WHATS REQUIRED: Pass a background check Proof of Immunizations (MMR, TDaP) as required by Community Care Licensing Physical Exam as required by Community Care Licensing Negative TB test High school diploma or equivalency. AA in Early Childhood Education preferred. 12 ECE units OR minimum of 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in ECE courses including infant toddler course Excellent written and oral communication skills required Customer service and/or small-business service experience preferred Minimum 1 year of teaching experience Must be willing to change diapers and potty train Ability to stand up and sit on the ground for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds CPR & First Aid Ability to work between the hours of 7 am-6 pm Monday thru Friday.
