A company is looking for a Research Engineer, Applied AI.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement novel solutions for audio processing,
transcription, summarization, and context-aware reasoning
Own end-to-end machine learning experiments, from prototype to
product, to enhance tangible product outcomes
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate user
needs into AI-powered features
Required Qualifications
Proven experience with foundation models (e.g., Whisper, GPT, BERT)
and traditional machine learning
Familiarity with audio, ASR, diarization, or related fields
Strong product instincts, understanding when deeper research is
necessary
Startup mindset with a focus on ownership, speed, and impact
Systems-level thinking to trace problems from data to user
impact
