opportunity for a CNC Programmer - ESPRIT at our Burbank, CA

Aerospace & Electronics! Job Summary: The CNC Programmer designs,
develops and maintains source programming, and generates post
processors to create CNC programs for numerically controlled
machining centers to machine parts to blue print specifications.
ESPRIT CAM knowledge required. Essential Functions: /n - CNC part
programs (G codes) along with set-up documentation required to run
the part on a CNC machining center /n - Compile and test programs,
incorporating required corrections and revisions to prepare
tooling, programming, and documents for full production with the
CNC Machinist /n - Participate in design and development of
appropriate cutting tools for CNC machined parts /n - Prepare and
document instructions and set-up sheets for CNC Machinists /n -
Interface with users as required /n - Determine the sequence of
machine operations and select the proper cutting tools needed to
machine work pieces into blue print specifications /n - Revise CNC
programs to eliminate machining errors and retest programs to check
that problems have been solved and meet blue print specifications.
Understand job orders, blueprints, and specifications in order to
calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed
rates; Determine data reference points, machine cutting/tooling
paths, /n - or hole locations, and compute angular and linear
dimensions, radii, and curvatures /n - Observe machines on trial
runs and conduct computer simulations to ensure that CNC programs
and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet
blue print specifications /n - Use CAM software to generate
programs in the language of a machine's controller and store
programs on DNC system /n - Modify existing CNC programs to enhance
cycle times /n - Maintain source programs in a secure environment
in network system /n - Maintain and adhere to all standard safety
protocols /n - Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
/n /n Minimum Qualifications: /n - Experience: 5 years of relevant
work experience /n - Knowledge: Proficient Experience with CNC
programming using Esprit CAM software /n - Skills/Abilities:
Ability to interpret blueprints and work orders; Extensive
experience in machining parts to blue print specifications; Ability
to work effectively in a team environment /n -
Education/Certification: College-level training or equivalent in
math and computer technology Eligibility Requirement: This position

salary, including experience in a similar role or performing
