Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for the upcoming semester at an elementary school in Chula Vista, CA. This contract role is scheduled from February 2nd through June 4th, covering the remainder of the school year. The position involves working on-site at one school location, providing essential OT services to support student development and achievement. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy interventions and evaluations tailored to individual student needs. Collaborate with the school multidisciplinary team, including working alongside another full-time OT and COTA support staff. Facilitate therapy sessions within the school environment, promoting student success in classroom and functional activities. Maintain detailed documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with education and therapy standards. Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with educators, families, and external providers. Qualifications and Experience: Valid credential/license as an Occupational Therapist qualified to work in school settings. Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably within elementary schools. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educational staff and families. Ability to manage a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours daily). Prior experience working within a schools therapy team structure is preferred.
