Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Torrance, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,200 to $1,360 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $30.00 - $34.00/Hourly. Summary: The OR Tech / Surgical Technologist assists surgeons and the surgical team by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and providing instruments and supplies during surgical procedures. This role is critical to ensuring patient safety, efficient workflow, and adherence to sterile technique throughout surgery. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. Scrub in and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures. Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies accurately. Assist with patient positioning, draping, and skin preparation. Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps per policy. Handle and label specimens according to protocol. Maintain aseptic technique and comply with infection control standards. Requirements Requirements: 3 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, NBSTSA, Certified Surgical Tech (CST), Locals accepted at lower rate.
