Surgical Tech Location: Los Alamitos, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,519 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: N/A Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Flu and COVID vaccine required; medical or religious exceptions are accepted. Must be proficient with: - Ortho - joints and fractures - Spine - instrumentation - Neuro - cranies, spines - General/gyn/urology - Ophthalmology - vitrectomies Description: Start date: ASAP Shift times: 8-hour shift, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, plus call. Guaranteed hours per week: 40. Call required includes one 8-hour shift during the week. Call schedule is 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM if working days, and 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM if working PMs. One 24-hour call is required about every 3-4 weeks. Weekend call is Saturday 7:00 AM to Sunday 7:00 AM for day shifts, or Sunday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM for PM shifts. Float requirement: As needed based on skill set. Facility has 160 beds and handles approximately 400 cases a month. Patient population includes adults with ortho, neuro, general, vascular, robotics, gyn, and urology cases. Role focus is circulating only. There are no open-heart cases or trauma work, as this is a busy community hospital.
