PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Redlands, California, 92373! Job Title: PACU

Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience preferred License: Valid
state RN license required Certifications: Required: BLS, ACLS,
NIHSS, PALS Preferred: CCRN, CPAN, CAPA Must-Have: -
Ambulatory/Outpatient experience - Inpatient experience - Pain
Management experience - Phase I and Phase II Recovery - Blood
Product Administration experience - Central Line care/management
Description: We are seeking a PACU Registered Nurse. The unit
commonly sees spine, joint replacement, hip replacement, general
surgery, robotic surgery, stroke interventions, GI, and gastrectomy
cases. No weekends except when on call. On-call is 1
twenty-four-hour weekend per month and 1 overnight on call per
week. There may be a requirement to float to the preoperative area
as needed. Scrubs will be provided. First-time travelers are
welcome if they have more than 2 years of ICU experience.
Familiarity with Omnicell medication system and Meditech Expanse
documentation is preferred. Candidates should possess skills in
managing various surgical patients and procedures. Knowledge of
various anesthesia types and post-operative care protocols is
essential. The role requires proficiency in interpreting lab values
and following isolation precautions. Pain assessment and management
skills are necessary. Understanding of malignant hyperthermia
protocols is a plus. The positions involve caring for adolescents,
adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support
includes services such as physical therapy, respiratory services,
and pharmacy. The ideal candidate should have experience managing
complex surgical patients and procedures. Effective communication
