A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Embedded Software Engineer

Position Type: Full Time (Contract)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Northridge CA
As an Engineer Embedded Software, you will:support our SiAW program who with the desire to learn new technologies to join our innovative teams to help develop, enhance, and maintain software on cutting edge products and systems.
Candidates will work on software system efforts for the Software Development Team on the SiAW program.
This position will serve on-site at Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL).
Successful candidate will have the qualities and essential functional expertise to:
--- Design and develop Embedded software,
--- Design and documentation of software applications
--- Test and evaluation, simulation of applicable software applications


The ideal candidate will have:
Active secret clearance prior to the start.
--- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related engineering experience.
--- Previous experience working as a Scrum Master in a technical environment.
--- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum or Kanban
--- Proficiency in using Jira for tracking tickets, helping manage the product backlog, and facilitating Agile workflows.
--- Proven ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
--- Experience in embedded real-time software development, with a focus on embedded C++ and VxWorks.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $30 to $39 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
