EDUCATION DESIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,
Engineering or a related technical discipline with 7+ years of
related experience in a network/system administration related
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory
domains and forests, including bare metal and virtual Windows
Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in
accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance
levels and ensure workstation and server data integrity by
evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and

of system backups and database archive operations, including
supporting media management with internal methods and procedures or
with offsite storage and retrieval services.

Strong understanding of servers and experience with VMWare is
Ability to work independently
Manage and configure Windows server environments
Automate tasks to improve efficiency
Proficient knowledge of cyber security technology and trends
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Network monitoring & alerting (Solarwinds, Nagios)
Experience with HP ProLiant servers, MSA storage, SAN switches,
C7000 Chassis an ILO
Experience with DELL PowerEdge servers, MD storage, PowerVault
Tape library and iDRAC
Experience with RedHat/CentOS 6, 7, and 8 cluster
Experience administering Kickstart and Ansible
5+ years Linux systems administration
Administration of NetApp filers (ONTAP 9.x)
MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle knowledge, including database
Experience with shell scripting (BASH, TCSH, and KSH)
Experience with web servers and WAFs
Basic understanding of LDAP and SAML
Experience managing (Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04, 20.04) and Red Hat
workstations (6, 7, 8)
Experience with network monitoring and SIEM (Nagios, Cacti,
Experience with GitHub or GitLab administration
- Experience with Veritas NetBackup and Veeam
