Rise in Malibu is looking to hire a part-time weekend Admissions
Coordinator to join our team!SUMMARY OF POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES:The Admissions Coordinator represents the
organization in the crucial stage of treatment in connecting with
potential clients. While coordinating intakes, transfers and
discharges the Admissions Coordinator works to develop and maintain
relationships with clients and their families. The Admissions
Coordinator works collaboratively with upper management and
admissions director to determine client eligibility for admission.
The Admissions Coordinator also works with clients and families to
ensure continuity of care and financial obligations are met. To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

disabilities to perform the essential functions.ESSENTIAL
DUTIES:Answer calls and online inquiries, providing potential
clients information on our various treatment programs.Spend time
building relationships with callers, gather as much information as
possible Reach out to anyone submitting forms with quality
insurances such as United Healthcare Care, Cigna, Aetna, Optum
Carve outs and UMR.Receive incoming calls from internet ads and
obtain caller's insurance information for verification of benefits
(VOB). Receive and review form submissions and run VOBsFollow
through with information provided by caller by initiating contact,
obtaining insurance information to facilitate VOB and to determine
eligibility. Perform assessments and answer general questions from
potential clients or referral sources.If our programs are not the
best fit for the caller, make appropriate referrals to other
healthcare providers.Collect insurance information and Conduct
client intakes, as needed.Conduct tours of all facilities with
potential clients, family/friends, and referents, as
needed.Coordinate airport/house pick-up of client.Contact referral
source upon client's admission.Regular reporting and other duties,
as assigned.Position requires availability on weekends and
evenings. LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS: Master's
Degree in Psychology or related field required preferred,Possess
3-5 years of admission experience in residential treatment
Familiarity with ASAM Criteria highly preferred.CAADAC or related
certification is a plusExcellent computer based and telephonic
skillsCall rail & Kipu experience is a plusAbility to prioritize
and multitaskExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with
a strong client focus LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to communicate
clearly and accurately, orally and in written form. This includes
proper completion of forms for client files.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times as required by the
program. Ability to determine when assistance is needed from other
staff in dealing with clients.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting a
minimum of 20 pounds may be required. Position involves standing
and sitting for long periods.Midnight shift will require adjustment
to being alert during shift and able to sleep during day.WORK
ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a treatment center with some
exposure to stress, and frequent interruptions. Frequent
communication with employees, clients and others on a daily basis,
including telephone as well as face-to-face interaction. May
involve transporting clients to meetings and recreational
activities.ATTENDANCE: Work centered in facility. Schedules change
with client needs and may include holidays, weekends or varied
shifts.
