Job Description:
We are seeking a senior level UX Designer for at least 9-12
months. We need a full stack product designer that can conduct
product discovery activities, prototyping, and usability testing.
Experience working with design systems, artificial intelligence,
and data visualization is required. This designer will be expected
to support 1-2 teams through product discovery, design, and
implementation.About the project(s):We are building insight engines
which will provide the end users with the requisite analytics to
perform their jobs better. This could be providing data on total
loss to a claims associate or infusing a sales coach into the
system that we quote new offers to customers. We would like this
role to assist in designing the front-end of our products to be
user friendly, intuitive and visually appealing. They will need to
be capable of working with Figma and design systems.The ideal
candidate can execute the following
- Design Systems & Consistency - Creating reusable UI components
that align with broader product design standards.
- User-Centered Design - Ability to translate complex model
outputs into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Interaction Design - Designing workflows and interactions that
allow users to explore, filter, and understand model insights.
- Prototype Design: The role will require the designer to create
functional prototypes for testing and build specifications complete
with visual design.
- User research: while generative research is generally supported
by our in-house team, this designer must be able to conduct
evaluative research with a focus on usability testing.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams - Experience working with
data scientists, engineers, and product managers to iterate on
functionality and performance. Expertise in design thinking and/or
workshop facilitation is a plus.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs highly complex products independently, manages related
costs and methods.
- Impacts teams and department and aspects of functional and
business results.
- Expert in UX best practices and trends; CX standards, and
business goals.
- Able to use knowledge of UX methods to influence how
multi-disciplinary teams deliver outcomes.
- Leads UX strategy within program area or across multiple
products.
- Partners with business stakeholders to help understand upcoming
design needs and operating strategies.
- Determines and coordinates work priorities and timelines for
work across program areas; communicates delivery dates.
- Fosters an environment of continuous learning and growth, where
others learn from experiences and setbacks and proactively seeks
ways to become more effective. Anticipates operational issues and
develops preventative measures.
- Forms strong relationships across the enterprise and leverages
key influencers to impact decisions within and outside their
immediate organizational structure (organizational savvy).EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
- 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
- Portfolio of experience that demonstrates deep expertise in
data visualization
- Experience with complex transactional business models
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management
skills
- Expert in design thinking, digital product development, and
rapid prototyping.
- Expert in design programs such as Figma, Mural, and MS office
suite
- Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS.The target hiring compensation
range for this role is $80.46 to $89.40 an hour. Compensation is
based on several factors including, but not limited to education,
relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and
