A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Specialist to
work remotely from home.
Key Responsibilities
Process authorization requests for completeness and possible
approval
Research issues utilizing systems and available resources
Ensure timeliness and appropriateness of requests according to
guidelines
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of health claims or customer service experience in a
healthcare environment
Ability to navigate multiple systems
Processing Authorizations with Medicare Part C or D experience
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy
