Job Details Job Details: Our company, a leading player in the food
manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and driven
Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a permanent
position that offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow our
business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record
in the grocery or retail sector and will be responsible for
identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic
partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role is ideal for a
dynamic, results-oriented individual who thrives on challenges and
is passionate about building relationships and driving business
growth. Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business
opportunities in the grocery and retail sectors to drive company
growth. Develop and implement strategic business development plans
to achieve or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong
relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers,
and industry partners. Conduct market research to identify trends,
customer needs, and competitive insights. Collaborate with internal
teams to develop and implement strategies to increase market
penetration and profitability. Prepare and deliver presentations to
potential clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Negotiate
and close business deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and
maintaining a strong pipeline for future business. Monitor and
report on market trends, sales activities, and business
performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business,
Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in
business development, sales, or a related role in the grocery or
retail sector. Proven track record of identifying new business
opportunities and achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of
the manufacturing industry and the grocery and retail sectors.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to
build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Strong analytical
skills, with the ability to interpret market data and apply it to
business development strategies. Self-motivated, with a strong
drive to achieve business objectives. Ability to work independently
and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,
including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel as
